Meraki Gastrobar will burst onto the scene in Nájera in August 2022 with a innovative concept where you can enjoy gastronomy and an environment full of history next to the Monastery of Santa María La Real.

At Meraki you can enjoy a tasty breakfast (see letter) as well as their rations and rice dishes made at the time (see letter).

Opening hours are from Tuesday to Friday from 9h to 16h and from 19h to 23h. Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to midnight. Closed on Mondays.

At Meraki they are pets welcome.

Eating in Nájera | Meraki, a dream come true

Meraki is the materialisation of Kike's project made reality in Nájerahis people.

After years in silence trying to shape an idea of a different gastrobar where you can eat in NájeraFinally, the opportunity arose for the perfect placeand even though it was not in a very appropriate economic framework, Kike decided to go all in and open Meraki on 1 August 2022.

"My obsession has always been to get my neighbours to try out elaborate, different and quality cuisine at an affordable price. so that everyone who wants to can come and enjoy it.."

All this, in a nice and cosy place for all kinds of audiences, in the incomparable setting of La Plaza, next to the Monastery of Santa María La Real.

The short trajectory of Meraki Gastrobar has not prevented it from winning in April 2023 the Golden Apron at the Pinchos de La Rioja Pinchos Contest with its spike "Don't eat my ear".

The place where we are is a luxuryThe door of the premises allows us to contemplate the monastery of Santa María la Real in all its splendour, with the mountain in the background creating a special environment.

Nájera is a city with 8,000 inhabitants and a large number of tourists in particular, pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago which number in the thousands year after year.

As it is the ancient capital of the Kingdom of NavarreNájera has a great historical and cultural attraction Its monastery is one of the most important in La Rioja.
